Lexus expands its talented roster of golf champions with the addition of two-time PGA TOUR winner Charles
Howell III. Howell will display a Lexus logo on his apparel and make appearances
at Lexus events as a brand ambassador. The sponsorship kicks off at the Northern
Trust Open at Riviera Country Club in Pacific Palisades, Calif., on Feb. 11, 2008.

sport which is evident both on and off the course that we feel he is an excellent

After
capturing the NCAA Championship at Oklahoma State University in 2000, Howell turned
professional later that year and earned PGA TOUR Rookie of the Year honors in
2001. He captured his first PGA TOUR victory in 2002 at the Michelob Championship
at Kingsmill and won his second PGA TOUR title in 2007 at the Nissan Open with
a thrilling playoff victory over Phil Mickelson. He has earned more than 40 top-10
finishes in his career and has represented the United States on two Presidents
Cup Teams
Howell, 28, grew up near the Augusta National Golf Club and began
his golf career at the age of seven, winning five tournaments by age 11 and has
excelled at every level of competition from junior golf to the PGA Tour.
